Amy Coopersmith, OTD, OTR/L, MA, Edworked as an OT supervisor and clinician for the NYC Department of Education for 17 years. Amy currently teaches national and regional workshops on self-determination using guided questioning, role play, music, puppets, and video-based learning. Previously, she taught at Mercy College and worked for 10 years as a health teacher. Amy is the creator of Captain Me, a musical self-determination program. She completed her OT doctorate at Temple University in 2022.
