5 Key Strategy Principles for Interventions
This course will discuss the 3 broad areas of executive functions, from working memory, inhibitory control and cognitive flexibility. Participants will learn best practices and tools in the evaluation process for these areas of function. Peggy will provide you with the 5 Key Strategy Principles for interventions in the areas of planning and organization, time management, self-regulation, work persistence (metacognition) and content acquisition to help your clients participate in ADLs, play and leisure, work and other meaningful activities. She will include multiple examples for each of the 5 Key Strategy Principles so you can apply what you learn the very next day you return to work. Closed Captioned in English.

Peggy Morris, OTD, OTR/L, BCP is an OT with 30+ years of peds experience in early intervention, private practice & out-patient, but most of her experience & passion is in school-based practice. She coordinates the post-professional MS and OTD programs & school-based certificate program at Tufts University.
