Multi-Tiered System of Supports

OT, PT, and SLP Practitioners’ Role and Strategies

You may have heard of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). And you are concerned about what you can and cannot do within each of the 3 Tiers. Bridgette will clarify your role in each of the tiers of MTSS. You will learn important considerations to help you decide whether your support is needed, and what type of support is appropriate within your expertise and scope of practice as a licensed healthcare professional. Bridgette will provide you with multiple strategies that you can utilize to promote Universal Design for Learning (UDL), physical health, and mental health. You will also learn the 5 Starting Points for MTSS Decision-Making, which she is going to apply to 3 different case studies, one from each of the 3 Tiers of MTSS.

You will leave the course with knowledge of your role in MTSS and with concrete strategies for providing your expertise in each of the 3 Tiers of MTSS. Closed Captioned in English!
